At Orzeszkowej 10 lived and Józef Nechemia Kornitzer – the last prewar Rabbi of Jewish community in Kraków. Józef was born in Kraków on December 12th, 1880 and was a grandson of another known Rabbi from Kraków – Szymon Schreiber. Józef Kornitzer died on April 28th, 1933 in Kraków. His son, Samuel Kornitzer, was a dayan and was killed during the war. After the research MI POLIN is 99% sure that mezuzah trace came from the Rabbis pre-war home.

In apartment number 10 lived Hirsz Ajzensztadt, a member of city council. Another person who lived in Orzeszkowej 10 was Milka Friedman. Most likely she was a daughter of Wolf and Lea. She was killed during the war and survived by her brother, Elias Friedman.
